Suggested Ways to Use This Tool

The Game Scoreboard is simple to use and works with almost any classroom activity. Whether you’re running a quiz, playing a team game, or just managing behavior, this tool makes it easy to keep track of points. Here are some of our favorite ways to use it in class.

Track Team Points in a Quiz

Use the scoreboard to keep track of team scores during a classroom quiz. Just choose how many teams you have, enter their names (if you want), and click the plus or minus buttons as the quiz goes on. It adds a fun competitive element and keeps students focused and engaged.

Classroom Management

Use the scoreboard to reward positive behavior and teamwork. Give points to teams or table groups for things like staying on task, helping others, or participating. You can also remove points for things like talking out of turn. Once a team reaches a certain number of points, reward them with a small prize or let the whole class play a game.

Motivate the Class Toward a Goal

Use the scoreboard to track progress toward a whole-class reward. Start with a certain number of points needed — for example, 50 points — and add points whenever students show positive behavior, work well together, or complete tasks. Once they reach the goal, celebrate with a fun activity or game. It’s a great way to build teamwork and keep motivation high.
